My name is Shelia Clackum. This is my 27th year of teaching in Douglas County and my 24th year at Arbor Station. I love being an Arbor Station Bear! I have taught 1st and 4th grades, and for the past 11 years have been teaching ESOL. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2004, I was honored to be named Arbor Station’s Teacher of the Year. In 2022, I was named the Douglas County School System's ESOL Teacher of the Year. When I am not teaching you can find me at the beach relaxing with my husband. We have been married for 38 years and have two grown children.
