Douglas County has replaced Accelerated Reading with a new program called Beanstack. This program allows students to log their reading time for anything they choose. Each student will have a goal of 100 minutes reading logged during this first year, they will also be participating in challenges created by their teacher and me, the media specialist. We are so excited about this program and we hope that you will encourage your children to visit the school library, the public library, and read, read, read!
