BLAST is a Club for 5th Graders

The purpose is to educate all fifth grade classes in the Douglas County School District about

• the effects of tobacco

• self-esteem

• dealing with stress

• assertiveness

• social skills

• decision-making

• goal-setting

• effects of advertising

• conflict resolution

• good communication skills

This is a ten week course taught by the Douglasville Police Department with the help of:
