I have been married for 36 years to my high school sweetheart. We have one son who is married and two beautiful grandchildren that we adore with another on the way this September!

I began my career in education in 1992.  I started as a paraprofessional in third grade and during that year, because of a very special teacher, I decided to pursue my teaching degree. I received my degree in 1999 and began teaching fourth grade at Arbor Station Elementary. I taught fourth grade for two years and was able to move to Kindergarten in 2001. I looped with my class to first grade and then came back to Kindergarten the following year. In 2003, I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year for Arbor Station. I had 18 years of experience in teaching kindergarten. I now have the honor to serve as the Assistant Principal at Arbor Station. This will be my fifth year as AP! I am so excited about this new school year and look forward to taking part in every child's learning experience while at our school. I could not have asked to serve with a more dedicated, caring, and loving staff.
