Melissa Joe, Principal, Arbor Station Elementary
My teaching career began in 1990 in Douglas County, where I taught third grade at Burnett Elementary School. I have also taught at Eastside Elementary School until I became the assistant principal at Chapel Hill Elementary School. In 2003, I was named the principal of Arbor Station Elementary School.
I am originally from Tennessee where I attended the University of Tennessee. I received my Master’s Degree at East Tennessee State University. I have also completed all my course work for a doctorate in School Improvement at the University of West Georgia.
It is a great honor to work with the students, teachers, and families of Arbor Station.
